Who Killed Jimmy

        There I was lying on the ground. I couldn’t feel my legs or arms. I tried to get up but I couldn’t. I felt like a slug. I looked into the mist, I thought I could see a human figure.

        I started to scream, “Help, help please!”

        The man in the mist disappeared. So there I was lying there, deathless no help at all, no sign of survival or living. Memories started to flow into my head, I started to remember my family. I could still smell my mother's amazing tea.

        That’s when the strength hit me. I started to push up. I could feel myself leaving the ground. I keep going, and going. When I was half way there something happened. I could feel a large figure grab me and slam me to the ground.

        I yelled, “Who are you, what do you want from me?”

        The man replied, “I want your soul.”

That’s when everything went dark.

“Eight hours earlier.”

        I walked down stairs to my mom and said, “Hey mom, what’s for breakfast?”

        She replied, “Tea, eggs, and toast honey.”

        She always knew I loved her tea. Her tea tasted as if you were drinking tea from heaven. One sip of that baby and you would be in love.

        After breakfast I went to work. I worked at a programing company for Microsoft. I was there top programmer. We were building an app that could let you see threw objects. A lot of people think that it won't work though, so It’s up to me to explain how it works. A couple came in that day and asked how it worked?

        I said, “Well it uses advanced technology. It sends waves through the object to see what’s on the other side, when it finds out it projects it on the screen. The couple seemed amazed. They were in disbelief.

        They started to say, “No, no that’s impossible.”

        I replied, “Yes impossible to the naked eye, want to see it work?”

        They both said happily, “Yes, yes we would love to!”

        “Follow me then.”

        I brought them to the computer that has the program on it. I had them put a cabinet in front of it. I turned on the machine and it showed them behind it. I screenshotted the picture and told them to get over here. They came and saw the pictures. They were astonished.

        They said, ‘That’s amazing, but what is it used for?”

        I replied, “Well that’s a very good question. It is used for police that have to look through walls for dangerous people.”

        They said, “Oh ok that makes since.”

        The couple eventually left. It was my job to fix the bug in the program. After all of that I was driving home. I was probably thirty minutes from home. That’s when it all happened. I saw a red laser on my chest. I looked at the direction.  I saw a sniper aiming at me. I tried to swerve and miss it. It hit me though. My car ran off the bridge. I hit the land at the bottom. I crawled out of the hot steaming metal.

        That’s when I saw him. The man who shot me.

He came down and said, “I finally got you!”

I asked, “Who are you what do you want?”

He replied, “Nothing, I just want you to die.”

“Why?”

“I have my reasons.”

He started to walk way into the midst of the car.”

“No please don’t go,  save me!”

I realized I was alone. I knew I was going to die, so there I was lying on the ground. I couldn’t feel my legs or arms. I tried to get up but I couldn’t. I felt like a slug. I looked into the mist, I thought I could see a human figure.

        I started to scream, “Come back save me!’

        The man in the mist was gone when I looked back up.

I knew I was going to die. I know it was game over for me. I wish I could redo my life. I wish I could make things better. I wish I could do all these things. I wish I could take it all back. I wish I put all my effort in fight world hunger. I wish I could help save many lives. I wish I could go to war.

        Who knew when you were dying you would regret your life.

        I said, “I wish I could tell my mom I love her one last time.”

That’s when it happened. My organs failed right there. I could feel myself going into a deep sleep.  I tried to stay awake. No, no I can’t go. I have to tell my mom I love her. I can’t leave her! Then I passed away.

        My ghost came out of my body, I was floating up into heaven. I looked down at me. I could see the bullet hole still. I thought to myself. I just died….

       

The Science Lab

The Science Lab

It was a peaceful morning and birds were chirping. Max woke up in his room. He heard his mom yelling that breakfast was done. He got up and went downstairs. When he was going down the stairs he could smell the eggs, ham, and hash browns. The smell was so good that his mouth started to drip.

When he finally got down stairs he told his mom, “This smells great!”

His mom replied, “Thank you honey. What do you want?”

“I’ll take everything.”

“Okay here you go.”

“Thanks mom!”
After breakfast Max, had to go to his new job. He was a scientist working on the cure for cancer. When he got to the lab, he was greeted by his coworkers.     

“Hey, Max.”

“Hey, have you guys found anything yet?”

“No, but I think that we’re getting close.”

“Interesting. Let me see.”

Max went over to the research. He noticed that the liquid had changed colors.

Max asked, “Why is it green?”

Bob answered, “We added the blood of someone who has cancer to it.”

Max screamed, “Why would you do that?”

“It’s a test. Wait for it to come back to see if it works.”

“Okay, I guess.”

A month later they got a message from the hospital.

Max opened it, and it said, “You cure has given 300,000 people cancer…”

Max started to cry.

Max whimpered, “I... I... I have given 300,000 people cancer.”

He ran over to the nurses room. He told her what happened. She then gave him pills to calm him down. He then fell asleep. When he woke up he couldn’t recognize the room.

There was an hole in the wall. Outside was all dark. He could see what seemed like dead bodies on the ground. He started to walk outside. When he got out a foul stenched flooded his nose. He started to gag.

He screamed, “What happened!”

He started to run, he ran as fast as he could he didn’t stop either. He got to his house.

He ran in screaming, “Molly, are you ok? Molly? Molly! No, no she can’t die!”

He ran up to the second floor. He opened the door. That sound of the creek, that awful creek he’ll remember forever. Right when he opened the door the foul stench of death clouded his nose.

He said, “What have I done. I’ve caused this much people to die!”

Mac started to freak out. He couldn't hold his emotions back anymore. He broke down right there.

Tears started to flood his eyes. They burned right when they touched his skin. He walked up to her, and put his hand on her head. He saw a note in her hand. He read it. The date said December 31, 2025.

He said, “No this can’t be right, it just can’t! I feel asleep on November 15, 1991.”

He keep reading the note it said, “Dear Max, you’ve been asleep for a long time. I don’t know if you're ever going to wake up, but I want you to know that I love you. I’ll always stay loyal to you. Even if you don’t wake up. You have a son now. His name is Caden. I put him in a shelter so he can be safe. The shelter is located at…”

The note was ripped. Max looked for the other piece. He keep looking and looking.

He fell to his knees and said, “No, no I must find him, I must find Caden!”

Max went onto  his journey to find Caden. While he was walking he found another survivor.

The survivor said, “Hey, my name is Carter what’s yours?

“Max,” he replied.

Carter said, “I’m going to the shelter that everyone's in. Wanna come?”

Max replied, “Yes of course that’s where Caden is!”

They walked six long miles to get there. Right when they got there, they saw the shelter was nuked.

Max fell to his knees crying.

Carter asked, “What’s wrong?”

Max replied, “My son was in there.”

The Big Game

The big game was tomorrow, we are all ready. It was the rivalry of AHST and Treynor. Everyone was so hyped. We were yelling in the locker room after practice.

People were saying, “Lets’ go baby!”

“We’re going to kick open a can of whoop butt.”

“Lets’ blow them out of the water.”

One boy suggested, “Let’s go to my house to party!”

A boy named Ben said, “Okay, but we can’t party to hard or we’ll not be ready for the game.”

They all went over to Jim's’ house for the party. He had pop, and water out to drink. There was music, and a personal DJ there. Jim’s mom welcomed the guest one by one.

During the party Ben got a text from his mom saying, “Ben, honey there is a murderer in Avoca, please be safe.”

Ben read it, and keep quiet not to scare the boys. Then all the sudden on the radio a warning came on.

It said, “This is a message to the people of Avoca, there was a mass shooting at the school. Eight teachers are dead. There is 23 people that helped. Please lock your doors, we are sending help.”

Jim said, “Oh my…”

All the sudden there was gunshots outside. Ben peaked threw the window.

He started to count, “One, two, three, four, five, six, seven. eight, nine, ten, eleven, twelve, thirteen, fifteen, seventeen, eighteen, nineteen, twenty, twenty-one, twenty-two, twenty-three.”

Jim schreck. “Twenty-three of what?”

Ben replied, “Twenty-three people with guns…”

Everyone started to freak out. People were saying,

“Border the windows!”

“Lets’ sneak out the back.”

“Yeah lets do that!”

“We can run to the highway.”

“Yeah, lets’ go!”

They all started to the door, they then heard knocking on the door.

Outside they could hear, “We can smell you.”

“Come out, come out wherever you are.”

“We’re coming in!”

The door broke down. They stormed inside. They saw nobody though.

One guy said, “Guys, look they went out the back!”

“Snipe them down!”

One of them pulled out a sniper, he started to shoot them down. Ben, and Jim keep running. Every time they heard the shots there hearts stop. They were eventually the last ones.

Jim said, “Ben I’m sorry, I, I, I can’t go on. “

Ben said, “No, Jim keep going.”

Jim replied, “I’m sorry ben…”

Jim fell to the ground. They had him right in the sights on the sniper.

Ben said, “Jim, come on keep going, get up.”

Jim said silently, “I can’t, run…”

Boom, Jim was shot. Ben saw the blood and started to cry. He looked right at the boys. He said, “This is for you Jim!’

He then started to charge them. The sniper keep missing. Ben pulled a knife out from his pocket.

Ben yelled, “Your butt’s are mine!

He went over to one and stabbed him. Ben saw the Treynor shirt on him.

Ben whispered, “I should’ve known, I should’ve known you would do this!”

He continued, “I should’ve killed all of you when I had the chance!’

One of the guys said, “Sorry Ben your time is up.”

He put a glock right up to his head.

Ben said, “If I’m going, you're coming with me.”

Ben stabbed him right in the chest. Blood gushed everywhere. He tried to shoot but he didn’t have the strength. Then at a split second Ben got shot. Ben fell right to the ground. He got shot right in the neck.

Ben whispered while he was dying, “Mom, dad, Sarah, Megan, Alex I love you.

Then all the other boys came and kicked him until he died.

One of the gang member said, “What have we done?”

Another one of them said, “We’re murderers. we got to run!”

How Caden, the Boy That’s Super Smart Dies

There was once a boy named Caden. Caden wasn’t the brightest kid on the block. He thought nine plus ten equaled twenty one. Little did everyone know Caden was about to become the brightest kid alive.

It was just a normal day for him. He woke, up got ready, and then went to school. He has P.E. first hour. They were playing softball. He was out on the field. A boy named Gabe was up to bat. He smacked it right at Caden. Caden flinched like a girl, and they ball hit him right in the nogen.

He fell right to the ground, and he hit his head on the ground too. Everyone went around him. People were poking and nudging him to get up. Caden rolled over on his stomach. A boy named Drake, and Jordan looked down at him. They were right on top of him. Then in a flash of a second he farted a huge fart!

Jordan, and Drake flopped down dead from the fart. Everyone then backed up. Caden brain then started to explain.

Caden screamed, “What’s going on?”

Cj said, “Your brain is becoming larger.”

Then Caden started to mumble numbers.

Ben said, “Caden, are you okay?”

Caden replied, “I can control your mind now.”

Ben screamed, “No please don’t control my brain!”

At that point Caden took Ben's mind. Ben was running into walls. He ran into the wall so

many times he died from brain damage. Everyone was screaming. Mr. Haris tried to pin Caden down. Caden used his mind and floated Mr. Harris off of him.

Mr. Harris said, “Caden no, please don’t.”

Caden replied, “No one can stop me.”

He then squished Mr. Haris into nothing. Everyone at this point was in panic. People were trying to get out the doors. Caden then locked them with his mind.

Gabe P tried to stop him. He charged Caden. Caden made a bowling ball appre out of no where. He dropped it right on Gabes head.

Everyone went to the weight room. They bordered up the doors with the equipment. Caden went up there saying, “You can’t run from me, mahahahhahahahahahahahahahhahaha!”

He then bursted the equipment down. He caught 60 out of the 80 people. The only people left were, Blake, Gabe M, Cj, Ethan, Zach, Michael W, Kyle, Hailey, Bella, Korbin, Drake, Kate, Katie, Spencer, Clayton, Joey, Kris, Madison, and Emma.

Cj asked, “What now guys.”

Blake replied, “We fight back.”

Emma said, “Guys I’m scared.”

Then out of nowhere Emma floated up, and exploded.

Zach said, “Hahaahahha noob.”

Caden screamed, “I hate that word Zach, I’m coming for you.”

Zach then started to cry.

He was saying, “No I don’t want to die!”

Then his tongue ripped out of his mouth. There was blood everywhere. He signaled us to help him, but there was just nothing that we could’ve done.

Cj told Blake, “Throw weights at him!”

Blake, and I went up to the weight room. When they got back everyone else was dead.

Cj yelled, “Oh my…”

Blake mumbled, “Cj, I think we're going to die.”

Then Caden whispered, “I can see you.”

Blake, and Cj turned around. They saw Caden standing there.

Cj murmured, “Aim, aim, and fire!”

Both of the weights hit him.

Caden screamed, “Ow!”

Blake said, “Keep going we're hurting him.”

Just then Cj was getting choked in the air.

Cj could barely talk but he said, “Hurry, kill him.”

Blake keep chucking weights at Caden. One after another. He was getting really hurt

but at the same time Cj was dying. Blake was trying so hard. The teachers finally arrived at the doors. The doors were locked though. They yelled for the janitor although, he was taking a number two.

Blake said, “Cj I’m sorry!”

Then Blake threw the biggest weight at him. It him right in the head. It killed him.

Blake yelled, “Yes Cj, we did it!”

“Cj?”

He looked over at Cj and saw him dead on the ground. The teachers finally opened the door.

Mr. Sanders said, “What happened?”

Blake replied, “He killed all of us but me.”

The Titanic, 9/11, and George Washington

The Titanic

The RMS Titanic was a British passenger liner that sank in the North Atlantic Ocean. It happened at 8 A.M. on April 15, 1912. The boat’s nickname was “Unsinkable”. Everyone thought that it just couldn’t sink.  It only took three years to build.

They were so confident that it wouldn’t sink. They even didn’t add enough lifeboats for everyone on board. That was their worst mistake ever.

It sank by the boat hitting an iceberg right on it’s side. The collison hit the very bottom of the boat. The water eventually rose up. Everyone was in panic. They all rushed to the lifeboats. Little did the men know, they were letting kids and women go first.

The boat’s weight was 52,310 tons by itself. That’s a huge impact for a iceberg and a boat. It is told that if the captain were to change direction seconds sooner, they wouldn’t of crashed.

They received six warnings before hitting the iceberg. Yes you heard me right six. You may be thinking, “Why didn’t they listen?” I’ll answer that for you. They had one thought in mind. We’re unsinkable.

If you are wondering, “Hey Cj, what percent survived?”

I’ll tell you! Only 31.6% survived, sadly. More than half of that was children. It only took 160 minutes for the whole boat to sink. The temperature of the sea water was negative two degrees.

The boat is found 12,600 feet below the Atlantic Ocean. It is 18 meters in the sand bed. It took 74 years to find it.

9/11

9/11 was an attack on American soil. It was held in September on the eleventh day.

It was an Islamic group who launched the attack. What happened was that they launched planes in the twin towers. Over 3,000 people were killed during this attack. The attack was so big that they had other plans.

One of their other plans was hitting the Pentagon. They did so successfully. Another one of these plans was to hit the White House. They did not succeed with this plan though. The passengers on that plane stopped them. Bless their brave souls.

They fought four attackers. They broke the door down and stopped them. You may be wondering, “Cj, how did they break down the door?”

I’ll tell you! They used the plane attendants table. They keep ramming it into the door until it broke. It gave in, and they rushed in the cockpit.

This attack started a war. Our mission you ask? It was to kill Osama Bin Laden. Barack Obama announced him wanted.

He was tracked down and killed. Large scales of troops then left the war. I was in fifth grade when that happened. That war went on for ten years!

I was watching the news, then I saw it. They were talking about how he died. I yelled for my mom. She came in. We were both so happy. I went to school, and everyone was so happy.

Cody came in going, “We got him, we got him.”

I was said, “Cody, calm down.”

He didn't though.

George Washington

George was the first president of the USA. He was a chief during the Revolutionary War. He is one of the founding fathers of the United States.

He was born on February 22, 1732. That day was the day our leader, and the legend was born. When he grew up, he had no children. He weighed 174 pounds. He died December 14, 1799.

When he was done with the war, the people asked him to be president.

He said, “I wish not to be president, but a farmer.”

He went on with his life. Then, one day he accepted the job. He could’ve been a king but he chose to be a civilian.

He was a very good leader. He had a very strategic mind. He would always pump up his soldiers. He soldiers always followed him, and he followed them. In the British War, we were out gunned and out numbered. We had something they didn't have. We had George Washington.

He refused to let any war go down easy. With him and his men they would fight until the end.

In 1787 he answered us and took duty for our country. He was our president. Many people celebrated with joy. He was one of the best presidents we ever had. When he was done he went back to his life and was 100% a citizen. His wife became very ill. She eventually died.

This PPOW was a pain in the butt and hard. I hope Mr. Ross likes it a lot!
