Silent Forever

It's been two years since mom died. I miss her every second of everyday. I hope shes doing alright up in heaven. Andrew and I are graduated. We’ve been out of school for three months. I never feel like I’m safe anymore. I always tell Andrew that he’s the best because he’s always there. We do a lot of things together. I never go and visit my dad. He was found guilty and was sentenced to life in prison. I honestly think he should of been killed. I have no idea what happened to my mom’s ex. I bet he's dead. Andrew is going to college. I’m not sure what he's going for. I think he should be a doctor. He's good at doctor things. He comes home at 2:30. I wish he never has work because I get bored. I don't want to go to college because I think it’s a waste of time.
I have nothing to do, but housework. I wake up in the morning and make blueberry pancakes. My favorite pancakes in the world. I can sleep in how ever long I want, but I still get up at six. Make pancakes and clean the house. My life feels boring, but with Andrew in it, it feels better. He makes me so happy. I see Andrews car, and I surprised him with tacos. We always have tacos on Thursday because we have a chart. I never make anything else on Thursday. Andrew never reminds me of my dad, and I love that he doesn’t. We go out on Friday to a different place every time. After a while Andrew finally comes home and his taco is ready. I was walking over to get a plate and he stops me when I was picking up the taco. He walks in and hugs me. It was weird because he never does that unless something is wrong. I look at him funny. I was wondering what he was talking about, but I have no idea. I was scared to ask him what he’s talking about. I look at him and he sighs.
He said, “Haven’t you heard? Your dad is out of prison.”
Instantly my plate dropped and shattered against the floor. Glass goes everywhere.
“Why is he out of prison? He can’t! He killed my mother.”  I shouted.
I was having a mental breakdown. I fell to the floor, and Andrew pulled me up for a hug. I pushed him away and ran upstairs. I was screaming off the top of my lungs. I layed in my bed for two hours and I felt a lot better. I walked downstairs and looked at all the pictures. I was looking at them one by one. Just remembering all the memories. Thinking about all the great moments we had when we were a family. I can’t remember the last time we were a real family. I was starting to cry thinking of my little brother. He died in my arms. He got hit by a car and I held him in my arms. He wasn’t crying at all. He was holding my face.
His last words were, “Stay away from dad.”
I never listened to him at all. I feel so stupid. He told me what to do.
I walk into the kitchen and ask Andrew, “How did he get out of prison?”
“Well he didn’t really get out. He broke out and is missing.” Andrew said hesitantly.
“I can’t believe it. Is he really that stupid? He’s going to come after me. We need to leave or I’m going to die.”
Andrew’s eyes started to open wider and wider. His face was filled with horror and he looked like he was going to cry.
He said, “Don’t you touch her.”
I turned around and there he was. The big, tall, and muscular man standing there with a sledgehammer. I instantly pushed Andrew away and told him to stay back. Andrew ran in front of me and punched my dad. Probably the worst mistake he has ever made. My dad walked right up to Andrew and hit him as hard as he could.I started screaming and my dad looked at me.
He said “You’re just like your mother, always causing trouble for me.”
He hit me and dragged me outside by the hair. I wasn’t crying because it hurt. I was crying because I was scared. We went into the brick shed and he threw me into the wall. He shut the door and left. I don’t know what he did to Andrew. I was afraid he killed him, which he most likely did. I started to cry. I wanted to see him, but I never left the shed. After about an hour or so my dad walked back in. I asked what he did to Andrew. He never answered so I yelled at him. I was watching him pick up the hammer. He lifted me up by the neck and smashed my head against the wall. He dropped me and I was bleeding. He slowly lifted the hammer and I closed my eyes. At that moment I was having flashbacks to the day my brother was born. I remember the last day I saw my mom. Having a fantastic day just being with her filled my heart. I feel like my dad never wanted to be with my mom or with me. I’ve never ever wanted to live with my dad. He always hurt me and my mom. I have always been with my mom. Never with my dad.
I opened my eyes and said, “You’re right, I am like mom. I’m proud to be like her.
I was thinking how happy I was because I never said goodbye. In that moment he swung the hammer and smashed my head. The impact killed me. My dad was found and was killed. They found me and I was buried right next to my mom. Andrew was found in the bathroom alive. Andrew was the one that planned my funeral and he cried the whole time. He invited the whole family, and he visited my grave everyday. He picked out what it said on my grave. My grave said, “Goodbye.”

Silent Death

Wendy stood there thinking what’s happening to us. She never moved until her dad walked outside with his gun. He got in his truck and drove away. She thought the worst. Is he going to kill someone? Is he going to kill himself? She sat in her dad’s chair. She looked frozen and scared. After a couple of hours, her dad drove up the driveway. She never got up until her dad walked in the door. She never asked any questions. She got up and watched him put his gun away. She looked at him, and he glared back. Most of the time that meant leave.
So she went upstairs to her bedroom. It was morning time, so she went downstairs to make her dad breakfast. If she doesn’t wake up at six, her dad beats her. However many minutes she sleeps in is how many times she gets hit. She got hit forty-five times. She was bruised and broken. So she was making pancakes, and her dad sat down reading the newspaper. He never says anything at the table. The family keeps to themselves. Never talking nor going places. The neighbors try talking, but never get a response. Then, they finally stopped trying to talk. When her dad was a child, he was always in trouble. Beating up kids and almost killing a boy when he was fourteen. He went to prison for two and a half years. Her parents fell in love in high school. She loved him until she found out he cheated on her.
He said, “It’s okay for me to cheat, but not for you.”
She let it go and forgot about it. The whole reason she’s gone or missing is because her mom cheated on her dad. They had a big fight, and her mom left. She never asked her dad where she went. She was too scared to even try. So after she was all done making breakfast, she went upstairs to clean. She made everything perfect. It’s Sunday, so she has nothing to do. The day went on, and she went to bed. She woke up in the morning, and she was scared. The police were in her room looking through her stuff. She instantly knew what was going on. Her mom was missing. The police are looking for her.
Her dad was mad at her, but he wasn’t the only one that was mad at her mom. In high school, her mom dated this other guy. They broke up because he never talked to her. Ever since they broke up he has been stalking her, and he’s been angry. He is the one that she had an affair with. She promised she would stay with him, but she didn’t. She went back on her word. She left him, and he said that he was going to hurt her. She was scared of both her husband and her ex. She never thought her would hurt her.
The police kept looking for stuff, and she went downstairs. She never said anything to her dad. She went upstairs when the police left her room. She got ready and went to school. Never talking to teachers or kids she goes home. The police left a long time ago, and she just wandered around the house. She went on with her day and went to bed. She got up in the morning and got ready for school. She was looking around when she went downstairs. No police.
She thought that was surprising. Her dad was already gone. She did whatever she wanted. She made blueberry pancakes because they’re her favorite. She didn’t care because her dad wasn’t here. She was about to leave for school when the phone rang. She ran over to the phone and picked it up. It was the police. They told her they found her mom. They said she was cut up into pieces. They found her in a barrel in a storage unit. The lease for it was in Wendys name. She started breathing heavy. Wendy froze and fell on the floor crying. She wouldn’t move off the floor. After the police kept saying her name, she finally hung up the phone. She walked upstairs and went to bed. Even though it’s 7:30 in the morning she still went to bed. The house was empty without her dad. She was so hungry she got up and made her favorite, tacos. They remind her of her trip to Mexico. She went with her mom. She remembers trying all the different kinds of food. It was her favorite thing to do, trying all kinds of things. Then, as she was looking outside she saw someone. Then, she realized that it was her best friend, Andrew. He came inside and said that he was here to check on her. They talked about everything that happened.
He stayed over all night and said, “I’ll never leave.”
She believed him. Nothing happened the next day. No one called or came over. She was scared of who did it. Wendy didn’t know what to think anymore. Both her and Andrew went to bed, but Wendy never did. She watched Andrew sleep on the floor. He looks so calm and comfy. She wonders how he stays like that. He never freaks out. She gets up in the morning, and her eyes are bloodshot. She going into the kitchen to make breakfast then the phone rings. It was the police, and they asked her to come to the police station. She went upstairs and woke up Andrew. They went to the police station, and they were put in a room. They sat at the table and waited. A man came in and told her what happened. It was her dad that killed her mom, but he wasn’t the only one. Her mom’s ex-boyfriend helped kill her too. Wendy start to break down and cry.
They tried to get her up to go say goodbye to her dad, but she said, “No, I just want to go home.”
She got up and walked out of the police station. As soon as she was off the stairs she ran and ran. Andrew tried to run after he, but he couldn’t keep up. She ran to the lake and sat on the dock. She was there all day until Andrew finally found her. She wouldn’t get up. She sat there looking at the sunset. Her eyes were glazed. Andrew picked her up off the ground and put her in the car. They drove home, and it was silent in the car the whole time. Andrew looked at her, and she didn’t do anything. As they were driving past the police station, they were taking her dad to a different jail. She never talked to her dad again. She never said goodbye.

Crystal Cove

Crystal Cove

“Hey want to go out tomorrow?” Tori questioned.
“Yeah where do you want to hangout at?” Madie replied.
“Well there's a party out at Crystal Cove and everyone is going to be there,” Tori mentioned.
“Ok we can meet at the park at our favorite bench,” Madie said.
“Yeah then we can drive over.” Tori mentioned.
                   The next day
“Mom I'm going out tonight,” Madie announced.
“Ok have fun and be safe,” Mom said.
“I will and I won't be home till late, ok?” Madie asked.
“Ok love you,” said mom
“Love you too, Bye mom!” Madie yelled with excitement.
“Bye Madie,” Mom said.
Madie was walking to the park to hangout with her friend. She was walking behind the bench to scare her. Madie walked up to her and put her head right next to Tori’s
“Hello are you scared?” Madie whispered
“No, I'm just ready to go,” Tori sternly said.
“Ok, let's go!” Madie said.
They get to the Cove and nobody is there. They walk around the corner and see it all. Blood fills the cave with terror. They stand there with scarce faces.
“Oh my gosh! They're all dead!” Madie yelled.
“Wait, who's that?” Tori question.
Madie instantly yells, “Run!”
Tori starts running. She falls and hurts her ankle. She try’s to get up and falls back down.
“Tori come on get up!” Madie says with fear.
Tori replies, “Just go with out me!”
Madie starts to freak out and try to help Tori up.
“No!” Madie says.
“Go Madie!” Tori yells.
Madie says, “Ok, I’m sorry,” She starts to run and looks back at Tori.
Tori was laying there watching the man come up. He looks at her. He has a chainsaw that he uses to cut her body, limb from limb.
“No, you killed her,” Madie says breaking down into tears.
“Keep running Madie, Come on I can do this.” Madie whispers.
Madie talks to herself so she stays on track. Then her friend Rikki starts coming down the hill.
Madie announces, “Wait Rikki go back now!”
Rikki said, “But first let me take a selfie.”
“Photo bomb!  Now let's go,” said Madie.
“Wait I need to record this,” Rikki mentioned.
“If we don't move our butts we won't live to see it, so move!” Madie said.
“I'm sorry you psychopath crazy person for documenting our life,” Rikki expressed with rage.
“Shut up and run!” Madie yells.
Rikki replies, “Ok!”
Rikki chants, “Chainsaw massacre, Chainsaw massacre!”
Then Madie punched Rikki right in the nose and it starts bleeding.
“Ouch you messed up my nose job, now I look like Sloth off the Goonies!” Rikki announced.
“He's coming let's go, we need to get to the police station!“ Madie says.
“I'm so tired Madie,” Rikki says with exhaustion.
“I know, but we only need to go a little bit longer,” Madie replies.
“Wait, a taco truck! Can I get a hard shell with cheese and beef?” Rikki questioned.
“Rikki do you want me to punch you again?” Madie said with anger.
Rikki thinks and replies, “No…Never mind about that taco sir.”
“There's the police station!” Madie said.
“Officer there's a crazy man with chainsaw chasing us and he killed everyone!” Rikki tells him when she’s out of breath.
“Chainsaw massacre! Oh crap sorry Madie.” Rikki yelled.
“Well, where is he now?” said officer Babely.
“At Crystal Cove!” Madie replies.
“Calm down let's go check it out,” Officer Babely says.
Wait, can we go to that taco truck first?” Rikki said.
“Fine,” said Madie.

Josie's Car Accident

Josie’s Car Accident

I came home on the bus and I went to get the mail. All that was in it was bills, bills, and more bills. Nothing was there for me. I never get anything unless its my birthday. I went in the house and it was just me, the girls, and mom. Abby always goes straight for the kitchen because she’s always eating. Allie goes to the living room to watch T.V. She flips the channel to PBS Kids and watches Arthur. It’s a weird show, but she likes it. I wanted to see if there was anything better on,but she cries and gets her way. Allie went crying to mom and as always she yells at me. I just say sorry and go to the kitchen to get a snack. I always eat an apple. I don’t know why, but I just love apples. After my apple I started playing with Abby.
I’m in 5th grade and Abby’s in 3rd. We play the dumbest games in the world. One game is where we go outside and I hide from her, but I have to stay outside, I never do. I always come inside and watch T.V. Shes out there for like half and hour. After she comes in she yells at me then its time for supper. I don’t remember what we had. It was probably tacos because I love tacos. After dinner we started doing homework. I had a lot of math, and I dislike math. Its so hard for me and boring. Math isn’t fun at all.
I did all my homework and Abby wanted to make a obstacle course. We did and it was pretty cool. Allie wanted to go first so we were being mean to her. We kept tripping her and make her mess up. She told dad and we got in trouble. We said we wouldn’t do anything to her and we didn’t. Josie just left for her winter formal thing for Atlantic. We kept playing our game and then we started watching a movie.
Its been about two hours and mom has been calling dad, Josie, and Josies friends. Josie hasn’t been seen for two hours and nobody knows where she is. I ask dad where hes going, but he just says he going out. About 20 minutes later my moms friend comes in and shes crying her eyes out. I ask her what’s wrong and she says I’ll tell you when your grandma gets here. Nana came and she told us what had happened. Nana said, “Josie  was in a car accident and shes going to the hospital.” I instantly fall to the ground and start crying. Wyatt came home and he snapped his phone in half, he was so sad. I’ve never seen him so sad in my whole life.
This was the scariest moment in my life. Josie hit a deer and rolled the van. She was ejected from the car and she layed on that road for two hours. She tried to crawl to the closest house, but didn’t make it. She had a broken jaw, shattered hips, fractured femur, and skull. She was in critical condition. I wanted to be with her, but I couldn’t. She was improving everyday. She went in on the 19th of January and came out of the hospital on the 28th. On her birthday.
I was so happy and glad she was home. We had to take care of her and help her do everything. She was in a wheelchair and has to be in it for a long time. She was playing basketball at the time and everyone was praying for her. They bought her a bear and named it after her. It was a big bear and they brought it to every game with her jersey on it.
When she was aloud out of the house, she went to one of her games in Walnut. They had a little thing before the game for Josie and they all gave her a hug. She was so happy and a lot of people started crying. Both the teams got together and went into a circle. They prayed for her to recover quickly. She was never the same after the accident. She had some memory loss. She doesn't remember what she was thinking or doing before the accident. She’s always more careful with deer. She said after it was all over, “I hate deer.” I wouldn't blame her. The funny thing is that the deer that she hit was going to have a baby. She had a double kill. My dad told her that and she was happy.
When I went back to school the guidance counselor came to all five of us kids and said “If you need to talk I’m here for you.” I told her I’ll be fine. I walked in and all the girls gave me a hug. They were so happy to see me and they gave me a card. It was big and it was in the shape of a heart. Everyone signed it and had little notes in it. Even the lunch ladies gave my whole family cinnamon rolls.
Another accident she was on her way home from school and She was driving down the road. Max is this guy who lives down the road and hes very old. Anyway she was driving and he was going from side to side on the road. Josie was honking and honking. He wasn’t going to move or stop. She swerved and went off the road. She rolled it once and all she hurt was her ankle, but it wasn’t bad so shes okay. I love hanging around with Josie.
She’s getting surgery on one or both hips because of her bone spurs in the sockets of the hip. It’s been bothering her for along time. She was just going to get a shot in her hip to see if it’s going to get better. She was tired of it so she decided surgery is the best choice. I think she will do okay and she will get better after it.

January PPOW

Always say goodbye

Lily was living a normal life she got good grades, and one of the most important thing in high school a boyfriend. She’s been dating him for 2 years and they are both graduating this year. Hunter was the starting quarterback. He’s been recruited by a lot of teams, but hasn’t decided which one. Hunter, and Lily have been friends since Pre-school.
It was almost time to to go home, and Hunter had to go get his stuff. Sometimes I think he’s doing this on purpose because I embarrass him in front of his friends when I’m in the parking lot. I really don’t care cause  he always forgives me. He’s driving me home and we stop at this toy store, and he buy these ugly dolls. They are the scariest things in the world. They look like they got ran over about twenty times, and tried to get plastic surgery, but it deformed there face. They look real like a person, but scarier.
He hides them everywhere and it scares me to death. I hate it, he’s so mean to me. I found one in the toilet and he still has it in his room. He never even cleaned it off. It was the next day and I told him to leave them at home. Somehow one of them got in the car. I threw it onto the road and yelled at Hunter. We started driving to school and we were at a stop sign. We heard something. It was little laughs growing louder and louder, then it stopped.
We got to school and we had a normal day, but when I went to the bathroom I heard the laughter again. It echoed in the bathroom. It stopped after a little bit, and then when I was leaving it started again. I ran back to class and told them what happened. They all just started laughing and I hated it.
Meanwhile, Hunter was in P.E. and he was the last one getting ready to leave. He saw something run by, but he ignored it. He saw it again and thought it was someone messing with him. So he walked over there and looked around the corner. It was standing there looking straight at him and moved its head in curiosity. It screamed and ran after him. He was frightened and running for his life. He felt something odd about his leg. After he made it out of there everyone was  looking at him. They were looking straight down at his right leg. There was a chunk the size of a dodgeball dangling from it.
He was bleeding everywhere and he didn't feel anything. He was losing blood really fast. They asked “ What happened.” Suddenly he collapsed and they yelled for help. The ambulance took him to the hospital and he had the chunk stitched back on. He got there in time to save the chunk.
He would have to stay in the hospital for a couple of weeks to be safe. I visited everyday. He has about thirty stitches all together. He won't be able to walk on it for a long time. He’s been in there for a week and nothing strange has happened until that night. I was ready to go home for the hospital, so I said bye and left. I was home and my parents were on a trip, so I’m home alone. My sister was at a friends spending the night.
I was watching The Walking Dead and eating popcorn. It just went to commercial and the door flung open. I asked if Sarah was home, but there was no answer. I went back to the couch and watch more episodes. Half an hour later the doorbell wouldn’t stop ringing. I went to go look and nothing, nothing was there at all. ]I was getting freaked out, and I called my mom. She said that dad was sick and that they're coming home tomorrow.
I thought I could stay calm till tomorrow. I did, it was the next day and mom said “ I’ll be home in a couple of hours.” I can’t wait till she comes home. I’m scared and I miss them. I was Facetiming Hunter and he randomly ended the call. I was confused for a minute. Then I thought that his phone could of died, and he forgot to charge it.
He never called me back, and I was worried so I thought I could go visit him today. I went to the door and the phone rang. I answered, but nothing happened. It was a prank call or something. I went to the hospital and he wasn’t there. I asked everyone and they said he left two hours ago. I went looking for him, and I couldn't find him.
I went home and that night I heard a knock on the door. I answered it, and It was Hunter, he was dead! I tried to help him, but I didn’t know what to do. He’s dead! I was scared and crying my eyes out. I tried to move him, but he wouldn’t budge. I heard a laugh and there it was, standing in the doorway behind Hunter. I ran upstairs and I was glad my dad was in the army. He taught me how to shoot guns. I loaded a twenty-two and shot it. It was still moving. After about six rounds of bullets. I grabbed a pistol and ran to the garage. I also grabbed some grenades. I shot it a lot of times.I ran out of bullets and more of those things came, I tried to run, but I was out numbered. I asked god to forgive my sins and to bless my family. I was starting to get eaten alive and I had 3 grenades. I pulled all the pins and I blew every single one of those things up. I was having a flashback to all my good memories. I hoped it would never end, but it did. I died with a clean soul and thats all that mattered, but I never said goodbye.

Goodbye Danni

Goodbye Danni

I was walking home late from a party when my mom texted me.
“Are you on your way home because were worried?”
I told her to stop worrying and of course she calls me. Mom said,
“I am very worried and you didn’t tell us you were going to a party.”
“Mom I’m sorry, I didn’t tell you, but you never trust me.”
She said, “That’s because the last time I trusted you, you were found in Wal-Mart sleeping on the floor of the fish aisle.”
“That’s because, well obviously I can’t do anything right for you. Ah mom, help me!” My mom replied, “Danni!”
I was in a car for a while then we stopped. I was scared, crying, and sweaty. They were talking and came over to look at me.
They said, “Is she fit enough and pretty for the trade.”
“I think she needs some work.”
“All right, I’ll get something for her”.
“I want my mom!”
“Now Jessie, tell us what happened.” Said officer O, Tanner,
“Ok, we were fighting on the phone and she yelled then boom she was gone.
“Ok did you hear any back round noise?”
“Yes I heard a man’s voice.”

“Jessie can you tell us what it sounded like?”
“It was low and he sound relieved. Like he was watching her all this time. Wait, she said she felt like someone was following her. She said it has been going on for a while.”
“Did she say anything about his face?”
“No but she did get chased by him. She kicked him and he grabbed her, she also hit him with her bag.”
“Did she get hurt?”
“No.”
“Please let me go.”
“Shut up or I will kill you.”
“Please, what do you want with me? Answer me!”
“If you talk again I will go kill your mom.” “That’s right I know where you live and your name Danni.”
“How do you know? Have you been stalking me?”
“I don’t need to answer that and I have ever since you hit me.”
“I’m sorry I was scared and take this bag off my face.”
“Fine but, you better be quiet.”
“Why are you doing this to me?”
“We need the money and your valuable to us.”

“I’m cold and tired.”
“Can you stop dressing me up like a doll?”
“No we need to prepare you for what’s next.”
“What’s next?”
“Please I’m scared and you’re all stupid!”
“What did you say?”
“Answer me you little blonde piece of crap!”
“No I will not answer to a dumb and stupid person!”

We were walking to the car; I was scared out of my mind.
“How long till we get there?”
“About five minutes now shut your mouth!”
“Please tell me what do I have to do when you sell me?”
“You will have to do unspeakable things.”
“What are you doing?”
“I’m cutting myself, so you can’t sell me because Ill be in bad condition.”
“I will shoot you if you even think of cutting your self.”
“I have put my life on the line for this, and if you ruin this we will both die.”
“Well that was your decision.”
“Oh my gosh, watch out!”
