Night-Time

The moon is bright,

When it is night,

It is a good time to fight,

No one can see the light,

Nothing in the world looks right,

The trees look scary with height,

We need a knight, so that we strive for our rights.

Dreams

Nightmares are scary,

They can be very eerie,

Sometimes it get very dreary,

Day-Time

The sun is bright,

When its day,

Its a bad time to fight,

No one can see night,

School

School is stupid,

Its almost summer,

We all might get a tad dumber,

When its summer,

It will be a bummer,

Ha not school is boring,

There will be a lot of snoring,

And a lot of exploring,

Summer

Summer is fun,

Summer is cool,

Maybe we can go to the zoo.

We dont have to worry about school,

When we go to the pool.

Winter

Winter is cold,

It is a bad time to find Gold,

Well thats what ive been told,

There might be mold,

Fall

Trees lose their leaves,

There are heves of leaves,

That you can jump in.

It is starting to get cold,

but we have to be bold.

Spring

It is starting to get warm,

The bees always swarm,

There is usually a lot of storms,

When is is warm.

There might be a new lifeform,

Because of the transform.

Breakfest

Breakfast is good,

In the hood,

Were they have hoods.

They all look like robin hood.

Lunch

Lunch is my favorite meal,

Because thats when im most hungry,

If I don't eat i'm angry.

Cuz im that hungry.

Supper

Supper is super,

Its like a super trooper.

Its on a blooper,

It is super.

4 wheelers

Atvs are fast,

they are a blast.

Trampolines

You can run fast,

jump high.

get hurt fast,

But it is still a blast.

Moped

My cousin has a moped,

she goes way too fast.

She thinks its a blast,

but she could get crippled.

PPOW

PPOW,s are stupid,

I wish I could just stop.

but i need more lines,

so I can’t stop.

Or I will fail.

Prom

Prom is I don’t know,

I think its stupid but i dont know.

It might be fun,

it might be different,

but I just don’t know.

Evel Knieve

Robert Craig Knievel. He was born on October 17, 1938. Evel was raised by his grandparents in Butte, Montana. Evel did not have a career for a long time. He eventually did several different jobs.  Evel did professional hockey, joined the army, and even was a criminal doing small things like safecracking and robbing stores. He finally settled down and formed a stunt group called the Evel Knievel Motorcycle Devils. Evel married his high school sweetheart Linda Joan Bork and together they had four children.  They divorced, and he married his partner Krystal Kennedy. His son, Robbie, ended up doing motorcycle stunts like him.

Evel Knievel was famous for his motorcycle stunts. During his long career he broke 37 bones in his body while jumping over all his daredevil stunts.  Evel Knievel started his career in 1965 and ended his career in 1980. He mastered 75 jumps in his career. Most of his jumps were on a Harley-Davidson XR-750 motorcycle. Evel ended up with Hepatitis C which he got from a blood transfusion from an accident. He did get a liver transplant that saved his life. In 2005 Evel Knievel was diagnosed with a terminal lung disease. Evel died in November of 2007 at the age of 69.   

One of his most famous stunts was jumping over the fountains in front of the famous Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas. Evel made the jump but did not make the landing. He almost died from the jump. His injuries included a crushed pelvis, a broken leg, wrist, and a concussion that left him in a coma for a month. This jump made him famous overnight because it was a stupid stunt. Evel had planned to record this jump and later have Sports Illustrated air it on TV.

Evel Knievel had many successful jumps that made him famous. The Box of Rattlesnakes, Moss Lake, Washington was one of his first jumps that made him famous. Knievel promoted an rented the area where he was going to preform. He sold his own tickets and was the speaker for his pre-jump. He jumped over 20 foot long box of rattlesnakes. He ended up landing short because his back wheel hit the box. Knievel did not get hurt and also jumping over two mountain lions that day. This was the first step of Evel Knievel becoming famous.

Evel Knievel needed a sponsor to pay for advertising for his shows. Bob Blair from Norton Motorcycles was his first sponsor. ABC Sports refused to sponsor him for the Snake River Canyon jump. Bob Arum’s company, Top Rank tried to air the event on television and to movie theaters. They lost a lot of money because it did not work out. Knievel hired an aeronautical engineer to build a rocket powered cycle to jump the Snake River. The steam powered engine cycle with a parachute helped him land the north rim jump. The parachute released early along with the northwest winds and caused the cycle to slow down. He only had minor injuries with this jump.

He jumped two pick-ups in Indio California. He rode a Norton Atlas motorcycle jumping 45 feet. The sponsorship helped knievel get more people to the jump to support him and make his name stand out.

He went to Wembley Stadium in London for his next big jump. Ninety-thousand people came to watch him jump over ten buses. Knievel did not clear the final bus, and crashed a Harley Davidson Motorcycle. He broke his pelvis and one hand.

Five months later he went to Kings Island Theme Park in Ohio. He jumped Fourteen Greyhound buses which was a distance of 133 feet. This was his longest victorious jump. He had no injuries and it was supposed to be his last jump. Knievel jumping record with the Harley Davison record stood for twenty-four years. Bubba Blackwell broke knievel record in 1999.

Knievel started many rumors about him jumping the Grand Canyon. He never jumped it because of it was too dangerous. He told reporters that he was a performer because he loved to fly. Evel loved the thrill, money, and being a macho man. He also admitted that he was scared while doing the stunts.

Evel Knievel died on November 30, 2007. He was 69 years old. Robert Greg Knievel was buried at Mountain View Cemetery in Butte, Montana. Actor Matthew McConaughey gave the tribute.  They had fireworks while they carried the casket to the Butte Civic Center.

 

 

Okoboji

Okoboji

Every year my family and I take a trip to Okoboji IA. We go the same time every year in March. We rent a cabin by the lake. We go to Okoboji with most of my step dads family. Its a large family so we rent a big house. With everybody there, it gets a little crazy.

Every family takes their turn cooking. My grandma usually does breakfast because she gets up so early. She likes to cook us bacon and eggs. The places that we go to eat are Pizza Hut, Arnold’s Park, and a Mexican restaurant.

The places that we go to Have fun are Miniature Golf Pirates cove, Wizard of Oz, Arnold’s Park. When me and my step dad go Miniature Golfing we have a lot of fun. He kicked my butt all the hundred times we went he kicked my butt but someday I will hopefully kick his butt and embarrass him in front of all our family.

Arnold’s Park is not only a small town on the lake but there is an amusement park by the same name. My favorite ride at Arnold’s Park is the roller coaster even though its a little rough it is still fun. I like the rollercoaster because it is wooden, it looks old fashioned, and I love roller coasters because it gets me an adrenaline rush.

There are other rides at Arnold’s Park such as Log Flume, roller coaster, Rock-O-Plane, Roll-O-Plane, The Raceway, Ferris Wheel, Bumper Cars, Swinger, Boji Bounce, Long Lines        Limited Train, The Spider, The Scrambler, Water Wars, Treasure Island, The Bug House,Mirror,Maze, Spin The Apple, Tipsy House, and Tilt-A-Whirl. I've ridden some of these rides but I would like to try more. There are also many carnival games to try.

There is a tour boat called the Queen II, It gives tours around the lake. My family has never taken a tour on the Queen II, but it looks really fun and I want to try it some day.

You can go parasailing and rent jet skis at Arnold’s Park. My family always brings up a lot of tubes so we can go out on the water and enjoy the sun. We always used to tube behind a pontoon. That was not very fun at all, so my aunts husband has a boat that he brings up. It’s a lot faster, and a lot more fun. We usually have two tubes hooked up, so my sister, and cousins can hit each other off  into the water. It’s a lot more fun.

I have never been parasailing behind a boat. I really want to do it sometime. It’s really cool because you're like a bird in the air flying. I hope i can talk my mom and dad to do it this year but the only scary part about it. How do you stop?

My stepdad loves to fish up in Okoboji. Somedays he catches a lot of fish and other days he catches one or two, but he is still really happy. If the fish are big enough he takes them to my uncle and he skins them puts them in butter and when they are done we all get to eat. Fish are really good.

I wish there was a little more things to do in Okoboji because after a week or so it gets a little boring because you did everything up there. If had a choice of things I could pick and put up there I would pick like an indoor go kart track better roller coasters because that wooden one is really bumpy and I dont like it one bit. I wish there was more beach places and more water parks. And more things that kids can do. Okoboji is very fun if you never been there you should go you can go there with all of your family and go boating and swimming and have a good time.

Going on a trip with my grandpa

When I was little my grandpa and I always use to go trail riding with horses and it was really fun we went everywhere. We went to North Dakota South Dakota and that took forever to get there but when we got there we got the camper ready we ate then we got out the horses got some water and hay and they eat it all then we go out and put the saddle on the horses and then we go down the road to where the trails start and sometimes we meet people on the way that go there a lot and that know the trails better than we do and so we go on the trails start to talk and then one of the guys said there was a creek up ahead that we will have to pass and one of the laddies houses hated the water so we got to the creek all of our horses made it across even mine then it was the ladies turn so the horses was going back and forth not wanting to cross then all of a sudden it jumped the creek everybody started laughing and the girl on the horse looked like she was going to cry so we go on for like another mile or so and then the trail stopped it was getting dark and me and my grandpa decided it was time to go back to to the camper we told the people we will meet them again at 6:00 tomorrow and we did.

The next morning we got the horses feed and watered and they were already to go we met the people that we riding with  us and we started on a new trail that day was the day my mom and my step dad and sister were coming up with us it was my birthday. So we started on the trail and and there was another crick and i was like oh no this will take a long time but the horse was acting different than all of a sudden the horse just walked across like it was no big deal and we all said yay. So began on the trail then my grandpa got a phone call that my mom was close and we needed to wait at the camper for them and so we did we went back to the camper and then my mom showed up and gave her a really big hug and i asked her did you bring any food because i am starving and she did theres more to the story but i hit my last page to buy.      

   

Vampire

Once upon a time there was this little boy, older brother, and sister. Their parents both went out hunting and gathering for the children that night, but when the parents left they always tell the kids to lock the door. They thought nobody was out in the forest but them. They were wrong!! Their parents never came back that night. They were very worried, but they were like dad is an expert hunter. They weren't worried at all, so they went to bed. They woke up, and their parents still were not back. They were getting really hungry, so the oldest brother went out to get food. and he seen both of them laying on the ground dead he looked at them and cried but he seen two strange markings on their necks se he looked at them closer and it was two big holes, its a vampire he said. He dug holes for his parents and though the bodys in there he covered them up and went back to the house.

The next day, they started packing up all of their things to get ready for the 100 mile hike that they had ahead of them, so they got all of their things and got all of the food everything  that they could bring with them. They all were outside the house, and the older brother said well here we go no turning back now and the little girl said I don't wanna leave what if mommy and daddy come back to life they won't they're dead so lets get as much hiking and we can and get this over with we can get the cops and tell them what happened and they can check it out so they started their trek up the mountain it was starting to get dark and they started seeing strange things happen so they all stopped the oldest brother said we have to make a shelter and fast so the oldest sister started to work on the fire and the rest of them started to get shelter made get broken branches for the fire and she stuff that they need. Finally it was dark and it was a full moon that night and all the wolves were howling at the moon and all of the little creatures were coming out for a midnight snack especially the vampire gang there was five of them one had a pack of cigarettes in his hand that was jim bob the second one had a golden chain that dragged when he walked that was theona, the third one was riding a unicorn that was whone he was a big boy, the fourth one was a midget he rode his pony his name was cuddles and last but not least they was the biggest vampire of all, he always had his teddy bare that smelled like strawberries his name was jirome.

They seen the kids around the campfire and and jim bob I need to light my cigarette. All of the children screamed but the vampires all looked at them why are you guys screaming and then theona was like ya homie why you screaming dog come on lil homie dont scream i'm the nicest one out of all of us here whone was the one who sucked a girls and boys blood last night the children all gasp. The vampires said what's wrong with that, thats what we do and if any of you get cut and we see or smell your blood your dead theona was like ya homie ur gone boyyyy. But that boy and girl where our parents they started crying. Theona was like i'm sorry boy i didn't know homie.  

So that night the kids went to sleep and the vampires went went away so they thought

My Life

I was born on August 14, 2000. I was born in Atlantic, Iowa. I went home the next day, I was 7 pounds of chunkiness. When I got home, I laid in my crib, and now I am going to have too fast forward.

When I was three, my dad had a dirt bike accident. He was in Atlantic riding around with his friends at the dirt bike track. He went around the turn, and he ramped the jump. He did a whip, and his back tire hit a rut, and he crashed. It took awhile, but a helicopter came they landed on the gravel road next to the track. They took him to Omaha to the hospital, and he had to have a rod in his leg and his side he lost 90% of his nerves in his arms.  His bone popped out of his leg, and they had to push that in.

When I was three my parents got a divorce, so I didn't have a lot of time to spend with him that I actually remember, but I still get to see him on the weekend. I spend the night at his house all the time now, I love my dad. When I was around three, that was a year of the big parade in Walnut where we lived. My dad works at Nissan of Omaha, this is like his 15th year, but anyway back to the story, my dad is the manager, so he can drive whatever car is at the shop. The day of the parade he brought back a Corvette; I was so happy because I got to ride in it.

When my mom and dad got a divorce, my dad moved to council bluffs in a really small house. My dad met April at a bar. April lived in Tabor Iowa she has two sisters. We go there a lot and ride the go Kart on the track. It is fun. My dad and now my step mom got married in Las Vegas after five years of dating; they have been married for six years. My step-mom is awesome; we do a lot of things together.

My mom and my step dad were dating for about six years and they have been married for five years there are sometimes that he is cool and other times i hate him. His parents live like right next to us, jordan has two sisters his mom and dad had a trampoline but it broke. Jordan is cool we usually to a lot of things it just depends on the day jordan helps my grandpa on the farm and I help a lot too it is fun being on a farm because you are pretty much free from everything that is going on you can ride atvs you can do whatever you want to.     

When I was around eight years old I always stayed at my grandmas all the time. When I always took a bath in the bathtub I would always bring all the cars I had in the house and like half of the bathtub it full of cars and I would sit in the for hours at a time and play with my cars. Then when I got out of the bath I would ask my grandma if we could bake cookies. So we got out all of the ingredients, we got out bowles “that we needed same with the measuring cups then when we got done we would make popcorn put extra butter and salt on it then we would go out into the living room and I would get the exercise ball out and I would lay on it so I could roll around on it everywhere we would get half way through the movie and the cookies would be done so we would pause the movie and I love when cookies are soft so right when the cookies come out of the oven I would shove one in my mouth forgetting how hot is was i would spit it out on the floor and then my  grandma would clean it up for me.

All the places I traveled to is Las Vegas for my dads wedding. Kansas for a football game because my favorite team is the Kansas City Chiefs and another time I went to the Great Wolf Lodge and another time I went to worlds of fun and I went on my first roller coaster and that was fun. And the last place I went to is florida to oceans of fun.  

My first year I went out for football was in atlantic we went undefeated that year it was fun but i didn't get the ball once. It was fun making new friends but it was really hard. once I spent the night at my friends house and my dad called me and said I didn't have to got to football today so I went to sleep ten minutes later my dad knocks on the door and in said I thought I didn't have to go all we do is run and he was like lets go all of your stuff it is the truck it was 6:00 is the morning I was still walk sleeping and I get in the truck all of my stuff is in there so I was sleeping on the way to atlantic we finally get there and my dad gets a text saying its canceled so then since we are already in atlantic we just go to walmart and get a video game and some football cards since I got up and then went all the way to atlantic and practice was canceled.
