The Mysterious Thing

“It’s coming run!” I yelled to Bethany.
The mysterious creature was running straight at us.
“Where are we?” Bethany asked, gasping for air.
“We are lost, it’s still chasing us,” I screamed.
The mysterious beast with long claws, vicious teeth, and big red eyes was trailing right behind us, we have no idea what this creature is, but it was extremely big and scary.
“We have to lose this thing, it’s starting to catch up to us!”
“Carrie, I’m scared!” Bethany cried.
“I am too! Just keep running,” I cried.
We quickly cut across the road and went into the woods. Bethany was leading, she pushed a branch out of her face, it came back and whipped me in my face. I let out a loud scream.
“I’m sorry, Carrie, I didn’t mean to,” Bethany said.
“Look over there a cabin!” I announced.
“We can hide in that for a little while!” Bethany said.
We both ran up to the cabin; struggling to get the door open. I broke the tiny window above the lock and unlocked the door.  The beast was starting to fall behind. It didn’t know where we went.
Bethany and I ran into the cabin trying to catch our breath.
“Carrie, I can’t run anymore,” Bethany continued, “I can hardly feel my legs anymore,” Bethany said trying to catch her breath.
“We can take a break and hope that the beast doesn’t find us here,” I said.
“I think, I might lie down for a little while,” Bethany said tiredly.
“I’ll wake you up if it comes around here.” I said.
A few hours passed and Bethany was sleeping on the old couch. I gazed out the window, searching for the beast.
“I see it, I see the beast!” I screamed.
Bethany jumped off the couch in a panic.
“What? Where?” Bethany whispered.
“Over there look!” I continued, “It’s just laying there in front of those trees,” I pointed out.
“What is it doing?” Bethany asked.
“Just sleeping.” I said.
“Should we try to leave before it wakes up?” Bethany asked.
“Yes, slowly walk out the front door,” I whispered.
The door creaks open. The beast twitches in its sleep. I thought, it was going to wake up. Bethany and I slowly step out the front door onto the porch, we were hoping that the beast wouldn't wake up. We stepped out onto the grass. There was a whole bunch of sticks on the ground. I stepped on the large stick and it made a huge crackling noise. The beast woke up. I scream in fear of watching the beast stand up. We both dash across the woods, we come across a stream. I hear a scream coming from Bethany.
“Help! Wait!” Bethany screamed.
Bethany tripped and fell in the stream, her foot was stuck under a log.
“Please, Carrie, help me!”
I ran back to help Bethany up. I tried to push the log off of her, but it was too heavy.
“Ouch!” Bethany cried.
“I’m sorry, It’s heavy,” I said.
The beast is less that 10 feet away from us. Its coming closer and closer, I finally managed to push the log off of her. I grab her arm and yank her off of the ground.
“Hurry! Lets go!” I yelled.
“I’m coming,” Bethany said.
The beast grabbed Bethany’s leg, it pulled her to the ground. I go back to try and save Bethany, but the beast has his grip really tight around her leg. It yanks her around and drags her on the ground. She got a little cut on her left leg from the twigs on the ground.
The beast picks her up and pushes her against the tree. The beasts face gets really close to hers. Bethany screams really loud. I don’t know what to do, I just stand there shocked that this is actually is happening.
“What do I do?” I yelled.
“Get it off of me!” Bethany cried.
I ran up to the beast, I tackled the beast. It fell to the ground and I saw the zipper on his back.
“Wait a minute!” I  yelled.
I quickly unzipped the back of the beast. It was Bethanys brother, dressed up as a scary beast for halloween.
“You have to be kidding me right now,” Bethany said.
“Happy Halloween!” her brother said.

The amazingly beautiful Channing Matthew Tatum

The amazingly beautiful Channing Matthew Tatum

Channing Matthew Tatum was born on April 26, 1980 in Cullman, Alabama. He was the first-born son of Kay (Faust), an airline worker, and Glen Matthew Tatum whose occupation is in construction. He has one younger brother named Christopher Anderson and a sister named Paige Tatum. Channing moved to Mississippi when he was six years old, he said “all the rattlesnakes and alligators a boy could possibly chase, fishing everyday, I enjoyed it.”

When Channing was growing up he was very troublesome and full of energy and he also struggled with dyslexia in school. He said, “my biggest problem in school was definitely the girls.” So his family tried to enroll him in different sports such as baseball, track and field, and football to try and keep him out of trouble. But after Channing’s sophomore year he had to chose whether or not to go to Military school or Tampa Catholic High school, he chose the catholic school.
Channing Tatum’s first real job was in 2000. He was a dancer and a model for Ricky Martin, in Orlando, Florida. He was paid four hundred dollars for this job opportunity.

The movie paid more than 300 million dollars, and he was also nominated by Teen Choice Awards for the best action adventure movie. The next movie Channing did was a little bit more romantic. "She was like, “What?” “Yeah, she calls me [the Sexiest Man Alive] now," he adds. “And who can blame her?”
On May 31, 2013, in London, Channing and Jenna brought a little baby girl into this world, they named her Everly Tatum. This is the first child for this couple, who announced that she was pregnant in December.  “Channing has been great during the pregnancy and after. He takes the route of no confrontation, just support, saying things like, ‘Do whatever you want! What do you want to eat? I’m going to leave it up to you,'” she said. “So the baby is living a healthy life.” added Channing.

Poems

Christmas time
I’m full of holiday cheer
When Christmas time is here.
When the jiggle bells ring,
Everyone starts to sing.
I twirl around,
In the snow that falls to the ground,
Little kids patiently wait in their beds,
With gumdrops in their heads,
That’s what happens when Christmas time is here.

Halloween Time
Trick or Treaters’ stalking through the night,
Halloween is the night of fright.
Little kids all dressed for the night,
Hope you have a light so the big kids don’t fright.
You walk the streets for the good treats.
Trick or treat?
Little kids are begging for something sweet.
Once you’re home, you eat the sweet yum,
And you wonder why your belly feels numb.

The Beautiful Butterfly

Beautiful butterfly you fly so high,
I try to catch you,
But I can’t reach you in the sky.
You fly around so carefree,
I wish you knew what it was like to be me.
Your wings precious, delicate, but yet so strong,
I wonder how you fly for so long.
You try to rest,
But humans are your pests.
Who disrupts your stay.
I think maybe you wish we’d just go away?

Seasons
The seasons come and the seasons go,
But they all have their natural glow.
The color of the leaves are always changing,
From green, yellow, orange, to red.
Soon all the leaves will be dead.
Next, winter will come,
The chill will make you numb.
It’s okay do not fear,
Soon enough springtime will be here.

Sister
Sisters last forever,
Infinity is just the beginning, however,
Some days she can be a princess,
Though she can also be the cause of my stress.
Even when she is a mess,
Really I don’t love her any less.
Friends will come and go, but sisters are forever.

Brothers

Brothers are a pain,
Sometimes they don’t like to use their brain.
They are good for one thing,
That is letting you borrow some of their “cha’ching.”
They can be over protective,
Their actions can be quite affective.
They always get on my nerves,
But I still treat him nicely like he deserves.
Thanksgiving
Thanksgiving is a time of blessings remembered,
Before the cheer and lights of December.
After your done eating,
Your mother is still cleaning.
Your uncle may fall asleep in a chair,
Giving you an opportunity to put whip cream in his face and hair.
And although it was funny,
He will get very mad,
And eventually you feel really bad.

Snow Falls Glow
I really hate the winter,
The cold wind blows like the sting of a splinter.
Most people hate the snow,
But it puts off a bright glow.
Kids like to play,
Snowmen and sleds,
As long as they wear nice, warm threads.
As they come inside to warm up,
They drink hot cocoa from a cup.
It may take all day to start to feel your toes,
It can lead to a cough and runny nose.

Poetry
Roses are red,
Violets are blue,
Hey guess what,
This poem is for you.
I met my 75 lines of poetry you see,

Oh my gosh finally!

The Big Surprise

     The Big Surprise
It was a warm mid-July day; the sun was shining and the wind was slowly blowing. My family and I were about to go to our family cabin for the Fourth of July party that my uncle TJ was hosting. Of course, we were all excited to go because we always have a big bonfire, games of sand volleyball, swimming in the lake, and to finish the night off, we have tons and tons of fire works, and sing karaoke. Everyone has a great time! So of course, we were running out the door to get in the car.
“Wait!” My mom yelled. We all stopped.
         “What?” We said simultaneously.
“Your father and I have something to tell you, but you all have guess at least once.”
“We are getting a puppy?” Jerry asked.
“We are getting ice-cream before we go?” Vinny said hopping we would.
“I’m your favorite child, we all know it’s true, it’s not really a surprise; can we go now?” teased Bobby.
“Does it involve pink or blue?” I asked.
It was pretty obvious that she was pregnant.
Mom and dad both looked at each other with a surprised look on their face.
“Yes, Hailey, actually it does!” said Mother.
“Wait, so if it’s what I think it is we are going to have another sibling?” I said not surprised.
“Yes!” Mother said with tears in her eyes.
We all stared at her blankly. Except for little baby Rocco, he was sad that he wasn't going to momma’s little boy anymore.
“I hope its a girl, I’ve always wanted to have a sister, I don't really need anymore brothers!” I said.
“Now Hailey, whether it’s a boy or a girl, you will love them the same right?”
“Whatever make you sleep at night” I laughed.
“Okay good, now get in the van we have a party to go to!” Dad yelled.
We all ran into the van and put on our seat belts, and dad rolled down the driveway. When we got to the cabin, of course, mom and dad had to break the news to the rest of the family. Everyone was so happy for her. Everyone tried to guess what she was going to name it.
I said, “If its a boy, name it Luke; and if its a girl, name it Sabrina.”
“Hailey, those names are so original.” Mom said.
         “Ha! Whatever.” I said.
After the fireworks and karaoke were over, we went back home, and I went to sleep right away. The next morning, we woke up early because we had to go to church. After church, we ate homemade breakfast and my step mom said, “If you get all your chores done, we can go to grandpa’s pool and go swimming with your uncle TJ because dad and I have to go to the hospital so that I can get a check up!” So, of course, we all rushed to get our chores done. Our uncle TJ came and picked us up, and he drove us to the pool!
“I’ll meet you at the pool when we are finished.” Mom yelled as we were walking out the door. It seemed like a long drive to the pool, but when we got there, we jumped right in. It was about two hours later when my mom showed up. She walked slowly around the corner of the pool
She announced, “Do you all want to know what we are having?”
I ran out of the pool and jumped for joy,
         “A girl?” I yelled hopefully.
“You’re going to be disappointed.” She said.
         “Aw man!”
“I’m just kidding, we are having a girl!”
         “I’m so happy!”
“I know me too!” She said while she was crying.
I hugged her really tight.
         “Hailey, your wet!”
“I don’t care, I am just so happy!”
         Four years later…
My little sister’s name is Francesca Marie Hageman; she is four years old. She is the best sister that I could ever ask for. She is really sweet, outgoing, beautiful, and very smart! She just started school this year. She is very intelligent. She has the most creative imagination. I am so glad to have her in my life. She has brought nothing but joy in my life! She is really lucky to have me as a sister! She is such an angel at times! I love her so much.
