Gone!

                                                 Prologue
As I lay, I hear loud noises echo through the spacious halls, people yelling, banging and screaming.“Mom,is everything alright!”
“ Everything’s just fine, stay in your bedroom
Natalie.$91.10!” that’s code for call  911!
As I grab the phone I dial, 9-1-1...

Chapter One
Plans for My 17th Birthday

Five years later, March,1, 2018...
“I can’t believe I’m gonna turn seventeen in five days!” “Am I invited, Natalie?” “Sorry pal but mom said  NO boys even if it was you. I am so angry at my mom for deciding that!” “ why isn’t she letting me go?” “Brandon you have done nothing wrong it’s just that my mom thinks we might play spin the bottle or something.” “WHAT?! thats crazy.” “I know right she can be so ignorant sometimes.I hate when she does this type of stuff, Anyway I have to go to art. Bye.”“ Bye, Natalie.” said Branden almost unwilling to let her go.In the exotic art room Natalie was thinking how much her Birthday would stink without her best friend, they usually had the greatest of memories together like last summer they went to Mt.Rushmore and the trip was so boring with a capital B,until he bet $500 (even when he didn’t have it)on a basketball game and won and honestly my mind was boggled, anyway he used it to buy us mountain climbing gear only to find out it was illegal to climb the faces of the mountain, Brandons expression on his face was priceless when he seen the sign that read “Anyone that climbs MT.RUSHMORE will be fined $8,000 per person”.Oh well I guess not all memories can be good ones.Hey, I’ve
got it…

2 hours later(lunch time)...

“Hey,Brandon,Buddy,yo!” “Oh um...hey Natalie, what’s up? and why are you acting all excited all of a sudden I thought you were upset that your mom won’t let me come.” “OMG Brandon we have an advantage with my moms ignorance.” “woah, woah, woah.ok three things, number 1 speak quieter, number 2 talk way slower, and number 3 please don’t tell me you’re gonna sneak out or do anything illegal.” “Brandon don’t be silly I’m not gonna do anything illegal...or sneak out.Ok? I’m just saying what if I had a party at the old bowling alley? Then you can come.” “...or we could have your party at the bottom of the Grand Canyon cause we are as dead down there as we are at the bowling alley!” “Brandon, it’s not that...” “Natalie the roof might fall on us!” “Well then unless you have a better idea then it’s my place without you or the bowling alley.” “Actually I do have a better idea...what about the mini golf? I mean we have less chance of death I can come and it has a lot of fun colors.” “alright. I will ask”. Smartie  pants. Thought Natalie.”great. Bye Natalie.” “Bye Brandon”.

Chapter 2
“Where is Mom?!?!”

Three hours later

“Mom!” I hollard hard and loud. But there was no answer. “MOM!” I hollard again but still no answer. I checked the kitchen for a note, but there was no note either, just her moms purse keys and phone left untouched in the same place they were when I left. How peculiar.Oh,wait I know she probably left her stuff when she went for one of her daily walks, she should be back around seven o’clock.
.    .    .
“Ok,now I’m worried it’s like, nine o’clock and she’s not home yet.I’m calling Brandon.”  Ring ring.”Um...hello...Natalie?” “Brandon, my mom is missing!” “Wait, what...did you just say your mom is missing?Did you try calling her?” “I can’t she left her purse and phone and this is kind of freaking me out.” “Um...” “Brandon this is serious come over and help me!” “Ok,ok...wait I kind of can’t...” “WHAT?!?! Why can’t you come?!?!” “I’m watching my six year old brother and he’s kind of a hand full.*sigh*Hold on he has the scissors and is about to cut his little wispy brown hairs off his head..........ok I’m back. Are you sure you want him to come.” “Yes!” “ok be there in ten minutes.”

.      .      .

*Knock (X2)* “Hi there how was your day at school, Tyler?” “Brandon who is this girl? And why is she saying things to me?And how does she know my name?” “Tyler this is my friend Natalie and she’s gonna be nice to you so you need to be nice to her.Ok?” “Ok.Nice to meet you Natawie.” “Nice to meet you as well. There are toy cars straight down this hall and to the left.Ok?” “Um...what way is weft?” “The farthest room.” “Oh,ok.” Says Tyler. As I sit Brandon gives me this weird look. “What? My cousin comes over at least once a month.” “uh huh, sure.” “seriously? I mean you have to believe me.” “eeeeeeeeek!” “Tyler!? Are you ok!?” Shouted Brandon. “Brandon,Brandon!” “What’s wrong Ty?” “There’s blood in the back room on the wall!” As I run down the hall I start hyperventilating and before I have a chance to make it in the room everything goes black and then silent.

.        .       .

As I come back to consciousness I notice Brandon standing over me.
“are you ok? I went ahead and took Ty home, he’s seen enough for one day. You on the other hand have been out cold for three whole hours.Oh, I almost forgot I took a look at the back room, blood just smeared across the walls, but I found something in the closet, but I don’t want you to pass out again.”
“Oh...um, I passed out because I was... dehydrated...yeah thats the word, dehydrated. I would like to see what you found.” Brandon made a suspicious look at her.
“Ok...I guess I will just have to show you then. Your wish is my command.” sneered Brandon.
“oh stop being such a drama king and just help me up to show me the room.”
“alright, alright, fine I’ll show you, just don’t...faint.” he was trying hard not to laugh but it was just too much for him to keep it in.
“oh brother. Yep, go ahead and laugh it up, I’ll remember this.”
“oh come on admit it, it’s hilarious, and lighten up it’s not like you fainted from nerves, you’re dehydrated... right?” a grin crept across his face as if he knows the truth and is about to start laughing ‘till he can’t breathe anymore.
”Are you done now,Brandon?”
“*sigh* yes I’m done now.”
“Great now I can go look at the room.” But as I walked in the room I saw blood everywhere just as Brandon said.
“O.M.G.,Brandon will you come here!?”
“what’s wrong!?”
“I...I...I think know this handymans work.”
“What?”
“I think I know who did this”
“How?”
“this same pattern of blood smears.”
“the same as...?”
“five years ago.”
“whoa, hold on, you’re telling me that you think your dad did this?”
“yep...look there’s a pocket knife, it looks like the same one my dad used five years ago against my mom.¨
¨ok... this is getting scary.¨
Brandon was right,(as usual) this was scary, but I at least have an idea on who the kidnapper or murderer or thief or whatever. But it just does not make any sense my dad should be in jail...wait a minute my dad was supposed to get out last week and probably wants revenge for the last time she put him in jail.
¨Hey, Natalie, I was just wondering why did your dad flip out like this when you were twelve?¨
¨mom said he accused her of cheating on him,but I don't believe that because my dad is usually pretty mellow and he wouldn't freak out from that, especially not with me in the house.¨
¨what if your mom accused your dad of cheating on her.¨
¨wouldn't she tell me that story instead?¨
¨maybe you and your mom don't have as good a relationship as you think.¨
¨maybe.¨
As I walk around I think of what I should and of what I could do.
I chose what I could do and that is to find my dad and ask him what he did and why he did it.
.        .         .
Chapter 3
What Really Happened?

First I went to his old apartment, but the landlord said,“he moved out two days ago but he said he was going to New Orleans.” “New Orleans?!?!” I yelled loudly. “Natalie I know what you’re thinking.” said Brandon “we’re in Oregon and how in sams heck are we gonna get to New Orleans in less than twenty four hours when we barely have enough money for us to order three small entrees from Fazoli's. Boy do I have a treat for you I made a stupid bet and I knew I would win and I did win but guess what I won and kept that’s right two round tickets to New Orleans for any flight and anytime.” “You’re kidding?” “nope!” “Wow, I never thought I would say this but your gambling could have saved my moms life.” I explained. A small grin crept across his face again, but this time he was actually blushing, he never blushes oh well must be proud of himself, he finally accomplished something that had to do with life and death.

.     .      .

Well we went to New Orleans and the flight was long and annoying and the guy next to me took my airplane headphones so the ride was also boring. When we landed I went to one of the airport’s coffee shops, and I saw dad he’s right there, and I went to sit by him and I asked him, “dad, do you know what happened with mom this time?” he looked at me and nodded his head. “ why did you freak out the way you did five years ago?” “she told me I wasn’t your real father and I asked to do a D.N.A test on you and she refused and I started yelling that you are my daughter and then I threatened to take you away from her and all her lies and somehow she got ahold of my knife and started slicing her arms and legs, and I held her down trying to get her to stop then you called the police she told them I cut her and beat her up and thats how the divorce came up, she got custody  of you and the house, and I went to jail and got nothing. she probably is at the hospital in Oregon but I got custody of you because I told the police the truth and so did she and because she lied they took her to the hospital for a cat scan and to jail.” “what about the blood on the wall?” “your mom never cleaned it off.” “oh well that explains alot.” “Natalie I have something to tell you,I knew I just wanted you to be happy when you saw your dad.” explained Brandon. “oh, come here I can’t be mad forever.” and I gave him a big hug.

.      .      .

Well now I had a cake and some gifts but the only other people at my party were Brandon and dad, but thats ok because thats all I wanted was a true family. And I learned family isn’t just about bloodline it’s about the people who you care about and who care about you and Brandon and dad are my true and only family.Oh and in case you’re wondering, a few years later, Brandon and I did in fact, get married.

Rest In Pieces

They were born together, connected by the hip. One was named Elijah, and the other was
Isaiah.Their mother had died while giving birth, and their father committed suicide after, from
losing the love of his life. They both had bright ocean blue eyes, with dark brown hair. They were raised in an orphanage as they grew up, due to the fact that their parents forsaken them. An old
lady name Anthonia  that worked at the orphanage, made enough money to pay for surgery to separate them at the age of 12.
As they were awakening from surgery, Elijah looked at Isaiah in a depressed looked. They both attempted to say something to each other, but they could’nt remember how to talk no longer. It seemed as if they both could talk to each other without moving their lips at all. All they needed was there minds. Elijah ripped off the cords on his body and attempted to walk to Isaiah. He had fallen on the cold floor, and Isaiah tried to stand up to help Elijah. I cannot walk… By the time Isaiah sat up, the nurse helped Elijah back into his bed and he had fainted. After seeing Elijah fainting, Isaiah had a panic attack with worry. Im sorry I couldnt help you. Then, he fainted.
When they awoke, they were sewed back together once again by the hip. Elijah seemed to feel guilty, because he feels like Isaiah would have a better life without him attached. The doctors told them the surgery was a success, but Elijah couldn’t survive without Isaiah. The doctors noticed how they couldn't talk to.
“Maybe It’s from so much morphine.” said one of the doctors studying the boys.
Elijah would've been very sick and ill if they hadn’t sewed them back together. Elijah felt even more guilty about the news, and thought Isaiah would be angry with him.
Isaiah was never angry at his brother, he actually loved his brother very dearly. As they grew up, they were bullied very badly. They were called horrible names that hurt both of their
feelings, and hearts. But everyday that the boys went home, Anthonia always tried to comfort the boys. She was about 82 years old, and she was 4’11 ½ inches tall , and she had short black hair.
She taught the boys how to sew and stitch clothes with this giant stitching machine, big enough to put a person in the machine. The orphanage originally bought the sewing machine, and the shop, for the nuns to make clothing for the children. They loved her so much, that they made a sweater for her in the winter so she would never have to be cold. As the months, days, hours, and seconds went by, she soon told Elijah and Isaiah about her sickness of leukemia. Isaiah would refuse to believe it and pretend it wasn't true, and Elijah begged to God not to take her.
They both visited her in the hospital to comfort her in return, and because they had a deep regard for her also.
“I’m so glad you boys came to visit me.” Anthonia said as she smiled.
Isaiah’s face was very sad and angry at the same time. I wish I could talk to her to tell her everything's gonna be okay.
Elijah tried to ignore what his brother’s thoughts were, and mainly focused on Anthonia. They both held her hand until she was gone.
When she passed, Elijah and Isaiah were about 24. They took care of the shop, and cleaned it daily. Only so often some people came in, but they left most of the time. Almost immediately. Elijah would always try to convince Isaiah to get surgery on them once more, but he wouldn't budge. He was still depressed from the fact that he could not talk to Anthonia, and he missed her so much.
They were very thankful for her givings to them, but they were also in grief that she was gone. Elijah cried while Isaiah was asleep, he had so much guilt in his heart. He wished that he didn't make it through the surgery. He went back to sleep after he was done weeping. He dreamed about having a perfect life.
As they were working on making clothes by scratch, Elijah had a sudden feeling in his mind about the dream he had. He thought that since he was now older, maybe he could survive without Isaiah. Then they both would be happier in life. They were working on the giant sewing machine, and Elijah watched the needle go up and down as he reminisced about his dream. He looked down at the ground to think once more, and then looked back at the needle again.
He told himself in his mind, Maybe if I jump on the platter, it will separate us. Isaiah continued to work, with no clue on what Elijah was thinking at all. Elijah moved Isaiah out of the harm of the stitching needle, and made sure it cut most of his side of the hip. Blood started to splatter everywhere and Elijah started to scream with pain. Isaiah screamed with him also trying to help.
The next day, Elijah and Isaiah were separated completely. Isaiah sewed both of their wounds closed, and he helped Elijah into his wheelchair. Elijah started to miss Isaiah, he also started to miss walking. Isaiah looked at his hip, and their was a dark blue spot where Elijah used to be. Elijah looked down with shame.
After a couple of hours during the day, people came in more, and started to buy stuff. The boys felt angry, and they now knew why they didn't come in more often. Later on that night, Elijah waited for Isaiah to fall asleep. He turned the giant sewing machine on. Elijah focused very carefully on the steady needle.
Elijah stood there studying the machine, deeply for a long time. He stood up very slowly as, his body shook from weakness. He threw himself into the sewing machine, letting the needle stab his body into chunks of meat. He wouldn't make a noise, he didn’t want his brother to be awakened. Although a teardrop fell from his eye as he died.

Along comes Josh

I am Sophie Heartfilia, I have blonde hair and brown eyes, and I’m smart, stunning and lovable. I’m also an author from Europe. I came to America for inspiration for the sequel of my newest book Betrayal. One day, I was sitting in my favorite café shop waiting for one of my friends that went to Ireland to study abroad. The bell attached to the door rang. I turned around and standing there was Josh my friend that went to Ireland. I haven’t seen him for about six years. We kept talking over the phone and we Skype all the time. I was so happy that I was finally going to get to talk to him in person. The bell attached to the door rang. A man stood in the door. He had Brown hair and blue eyes that looked like ice.
“Josh! I am so glad your back!” I said and I hugged him.
“H-hi Sophie, been a long time hasn’t it,” He said.
“Yah it has.” I said, letting him go.
“Sophie, I really can’t stay too long.” He said.
“Why?” I replied.
“I have a job that I have to do, and I should have been doing it hours ago so bye.” He replied.
“Oh, ok see you later.” I said.
“I doubt it.” He mumbled so quietly that I couldn’t hear. I left the café and walked back to my apartment. The wooden stairs creaked as I slowly trudged up them. The lock on my door unlocked when I swiped a card through the lock and punched in the password. My apartment wasn’t the biggest or the most beautiful. The walls were light yellow and the carpet floor was white. I walked into my apartment. I walked across the room grabbed a book and plopped on my queen-sized bed with purple sheets. I had gotten too comfy so I couldn’t get up. I read my book while my relaxed body lay there, a good two hours passed. The buzzer in my room rang which forced me to get up. The red button on the buzzer was going off. I pushed it.
“Hello?” I asked.
“Hey Sophie can I come in?” replied the familiar male voice.
“Who is it?” I asked the voice.
“It’s Josh, let me in,” the voice said.
“Hold on, I will be there in a second.” I told him. I opened the door and Josh was standing there with movies in hand.
“You want to watch some movies with me tonight.” He asked.
“Sure, what movies?” I asked him curiously.
“I will tell you when we get upstairs to your apartment.” He said.
“Ok, but they better not be weird zombie movies.” I said to him. We walked upstairs to my apartment and he put the movies on the bed and spread them out. He had brought the movies called: Silent Hill, The Conjuring, Mama, Milo and Otis, Frozen, and Finding Nemo.
“So which one do you want to watch?” he asked.
“I didn’t really care for horror movies, but I knew he liked them. I was hesitant at first but I ended up picking The Conjuring. I sat through the movie huddled under a blanket covering my face at every scary part.
“Josh, this is a really scary movie,” I said quietly.
“Sophie, it’s a movie there is nothing to be afraid of.” He told me. Despite what he said I was still scared out of my mind. The movie was half way over now and I was scared. I hate scary movies. I was now huddled under all the blankets on my small sofa. I closed my eyes most of the first half of the movie, but I thought I should be brave and watch the rest without being scared. I could tell just by looking at him that he was annoyed at how scared I was. I tried really hard to not be scared, but it was no use. I just ended up completely covered in blankets. I was to scare to sleep, so I stayed under the blankets.
“Sophie, the movie is over you can stop hiding under all those blankets.” Josh told me.
“Oh, ok I said slowly coming out of the blankets.
“So, what movie next, and it doesn’t have to be a scary movie this time.” He said.
“Ok, can we watch Frozen?” I asked him.
“Sure, I’ll go get it,” He said. I sat there in silence until he got back.
“I got the movie.” He told me.
“Ok,” I said. We watched it and I sang along to the songs the whole time.
“Let it go, Let it go can’t hold it back anymore. Let it go, let it go, turn away and slam the door. I don’t care what they’re going to say, let the storm rage on. The cold never bothered me anyway.” I sang. Out of no were Josh started singing too. I started laughing while trying to sing because of how ridicules he sounded.
“What’s so funny?” he asked me.
“It’s nothing.” I said trying to contain my laughter. He looked at me, but then went back to singing the songs from the movie. Once the movie was over, we had gotten hungry.
“Sophie, do you have anything to eat?” he asked.
“Uh… maybe, let me check.” I told him. I walked over to my pantry.
“Let’s see, I have popcorn, stuff for ham sandwiches that’s about it. I said.
“Can we have both?” He asked.
“Yes we can.” I told him. We spent the rest of the night singing and watching movies. The next morning I woke up in his arms. I looked up to see his sleeping face. I wiggled free of his arms and went to go make some coffee. The sweet smell of the brewing coffee mixed in with the smell of eggs and waffles, woke Josh up.
“Good morning, Josh.” I said with a smile.
“Good morning.” He replied.
“I have food cooking, so if you want to stay for breakfast you’re welcome to join me.” I told him.
“I can’t I have a deadline due today, but I can take you out to dinner tonight if you don’t mind.
“Ok, I will see you later.” I said.
“Bye, see you at 8:00 tonight.” He said. As soon as he left I could feel my face heat up. I went into the bathroom and I looked in the mirror. My face was tomato red. I went back to the small kitchen and sat down to eat. I was so happy.
Josh is taking me out to dinner! I went into the other room that contained my computer and the copies of my books that I had written over the years. I began to type on my computer. When Josh said he had a deadline due, I remembered that I also had a deadline due. I was half way done with the sequel to Betrayal.
I never came up with a title for it. I read through Betrayal and came up with the title Savior. I went back to work on my book because the deadline was getting closer. I had been at work for roughly three hours.
“*Sigh* I’m never going to finish this book.” I said sadly. I kept looking around the room for a distraction, and my eyes landed on the clock. It was about 12:00.
“Eight more hours to go” I said out loud.
“Eight more hours to what?” a voice behind me said. My chair swerved around. In front of me stood a tall man with brown eyes and brown hair. I felt confused. What was he doing here?
“Are you going to answer me or not Sophie?” the man said
“What are you doing here?” I asked him.
“I’m visiting my little sister of course.” He said. The man standing in my room was my older brother Nick.
“I don’t want you here, get out of my house!” I yelled at him.
“That is no way to talk to your brother, Sophie.” He said putting his hand on his heart looking hurt.
“Get out!” I yelled. I hated my brother. He never did any thing for me. He was never there, and he always acted like a jerk.
“Fine, but I will be by later to retrieve some things that our mother wants back from you.” He said.
“Go away, I have work to do!” I told him. He left out the door.
“Why do they keep coming after me?” I asked myself. I worked and worked until 7:00. There was one more hour left. I got out of my chair and made my way to the bathroom. I was in the shower for about ten minutes. I got out and got dressed. I had to decide either to wear something not too fancy or something fancy. I decided to go for the casual look. I put on a pink t-shirt, a pair of blue jeans, and a pair of pink shoes. I decided to leave my hair down, but it would be curled. I waited on my couch and watched some T.V. until the red button on the buzzer rang.
“Hello?” I asked.
“Hey Sophie, are you ready?”
“Yes, I’ll be down in a second.” I replied. I walked down the creaky old stairs that lead down from my apartment. Once I was in the lobby, I saw Josh standing by the old pop machine. He was wearing blue jeans, a white t-shirt, and red shoes.
“Good thing I didn’t go with the fancy clothes I had.” I said sighing in relief.
“What’s that supposed to mean?” he said teasingly.
“Nothing, it just means that I was considering to dress nicely for you that’s all.” I said sticking my tongue out at him.
“Ha very funny.” He said sarcastically. I looked at him with a so what look.
“So where are we going?” I asked him curiously.
“It’s a surprise.” He said mischievously.
“Ok, but only if I don’t end up blindfolded.” I told him.
“Darn now it won’t be a surprise then.” He said. We left out through the lobby doors. On the way out my brother walked past me, and I stopped.
“Sophie, what’s wrong?” Josh asked me.
“It’s nothing lets just go.” I said quietly. We left the building, and I climbed into his car.
“Sophie, who was that guy in the lobby?” Josh asked me.
“Someone that I used to know.” I replied.
“Do you want to talk about it?” he asked.
“No.” I said. Most of the car ride was silent.
“How much longer?” I asked him
“10 minutes.” He said.
“Ok.” I said. He pulled over to the side of the rode.
“Sophie?” he asked.
“What?” I asked.
“I need you to put this on.” He said holding out a blindfold.
“Really, I said I didn’t want to end up with a blindfold!” I said defensively.
“If you don’t put it on it won’t be a surprise.” He said persuasively.
“Fine, but don’t do anything funny!” I said tying the blindfold around my eyes.
“I know.” He said as he started down the rode again. A few minutes passed and I was still blindfolded.
“Where are we going Josh?” I asked for the hundredth time.
“It’s a surprise.” He replied for the hundredth time. I didn’t ask again. The rest of the trip was silent.
“We’re here!” he said excitedly.
“Can I take this blindfold off now?” I asked.
“Not yet. I will let you know when you can.” He replied.
“Ok, but don’t let me run into anything.” I said as he helped me out of his car. My feet hit the pavement. I stood on what felt like a parking lot, but I wasn’t sure. He led me onto what felt like a dirt path under my shoes. We walked along slowly. The sound of animals and the smell of pine trees made me feel tranquil.
“Hey, where are we going Josh?” I asked him.
“You’ll see.” He replied. After a few more minutes of walking, he stopped. I felt him go behind me and untie my blindfold that I was still wearing. Once the blindfold was off, I was amazed. I stood in a meadow full of flowers. There was a small dirt path in front of me that lead deeper into the meadow. Josh and I walked along the path and suddenly came to a clearing. It was a flat piece of land with nothing on it except a dirt path. So many different colored flowers surrounded the clearing.
“Wait here.” Josh told me.
“Ok.” I said anxiously. A few minutes passed, and he came back. He walked behind me and put his hands over my eyes. I couldn’t see a thing due to his hands and that it was late at night. He led me along carefully.
“Josh, what time is it?” I asked him while he was leading me to the area.
“I think it’s about 9:45.” He said.
“Oh, I thought it would have been later then that.” I said. He kept silent until we got there.
“Sophie?” he asked.
“What?”
“We’re here.” He said lifting his hands off of my face. I stood there staring at the place he had set up for me. There was a pink picnic blanket, a picnic basket, champagne, and candles that were all illuminated by the moon.
“It’s so beautiful.” I told him not taking my eyes off of the picnic he set up. After he didn’t reply, I looked up at him. He was staring at me.
“Josh?” I asked.
“It’s nothing.” He said grabbing my hand and started toward the picnic area, not taking his eyes off of me. We ate under the stars with the moon glowing on us. We talked for a while after we ate.
“Sophie?”
“What?”
“I want to say sorry for not hanging out with you more.” He said
“It’s fine, I really enjoyed tonight, we should do it again sometime.” I told him
“Yah I would really like that.” He said. I had so much fun that night, but good things always have to end at some point.

All Stars

All-Stars

In the town of NewBreg, California, there was a boy that has been dreaming of the day when someone says, “That’s an all-star.” This boy’s name was Roy Twisle. Roy was no taller than Jordan, and he always obeyed his parents rules. But when he wasn’t around his parents he was crazy. He liked hanging on trees, and playing at the park with his brother, but he became obsessed with the sport of football when he saw Terry Bradshaw play football. After that his whole life took off into a spiral of wanting to go to the game or wanting to play football with his friends.
One misty morning in NewBerg in 1999, when young Roy grew into a young man at the age of seventeen, was starting quarter-back for his home tome football team the Newberg Bulls. He was beloved by everybody, and occasionally people slept in his yard for fun. But, his friends were always pulling jokes, and having fun with him. Their names were Billy Blake, Casual Caden, Kool Korbin with a K, and Gorilla Gabe. I am not going to say why they were given those names, but they were all Roy’s friends.
One morning after Roy got done getting changed and eating breakfest, his friends were waiting outside in the truck. Billy Blake screamed, “Move it or else you’re walking to school!” Then he hit the gas and started going, and Roy started chasing the truck. Blake had the door open and screamed, “Got to earn it!” Finally, Roy made it into the truck when his other friends were sitting there laughing at him.
On the way to school they picked up some other friends like, Crazy Kyle, and Drake Duck. Once they got to school everyone swarmed the car wanting to talk to the captains of the football team. They went inside to attend the assembly for their football team. Four games away from another district championship, Roy thought. Once inside they went into the gymnasium and went to the stage still swarmed by people.
Later during the assembly their coach, Mr.Sanders, went up and said, “Tonight we face Logan, tonight we beat logan, Go Bulls, Go Bulls!” Then after the assembly, they went to class, then after class they hopped on a bus to go to their game.
They went through their stretches talking about how many points they are going to beat them by. Once the game started it was on, Drake was already down on the kickoff making the tackle. On defence, Gabe was in his own world as the starting middle Linebacker and nothing could stop him. So Logan decided to run it up the middle, and Gabe rush through and hit the kid so hard his helmet flung right off and the ball fell out of his hands. Blake recovered it as the Left Linebacker, and took a good twenty-five yards until he was brought down.
The offence that has led the nation in points the whole season came out to have their turn. Roy went under the snap, focused like he has been all year and yelled, “Hike!” The halfback Korbin took the ball and flung back to Roy for a flea-flicker to Kyle for the first touchdown of the game.
The next drive on offence after logan scored, Roy to a snap out of the shotgun and threw a ten-yard pass to Drake. Drake taunted and said “Have the ball.” and rolled it of his hand into the defenders lap after the tackle. Then Roy called a run play, and after he handed the ball of Korbin’s ankle gave out and he got smashed. Everyone on the team ran out on the field to help him get off the field. The secondary Halfback Gabe had to come in, and the very next play he took the ball for a fifty-yard touchdown to end the drive.
Drake on the kickoff ran down the field, and beat all of the defenders and blew the kid up, and forced a fumble, for Kyle to pick up. Once Roy got out on the field the coach called a play he didn’t understand so he ran his own play. It was a pitch to Gabe, but gabe turned around the other way and threw the ball to Roy for a touchdown.
Later in the fourth quarter it was a tied game 24-24 and logan was punting the ball. Drake and Caden asked, “Coach put us in we will block the punt.” Coach replied, “Ok if you block this punt, we could score or get into field goal range.” They went out onto the field Caden at Nose and Drake at Strong-Safety. The punt snapped it and Caden shoved both players out of the way and Drake went right through and blocked the punt to put them at the 45.
Roy was feeling off because it would all depend on him if he can’t drive the ball down the field in one minute thirty seconds. When he snapped the ball a huge explosion of adrenalin shot out and he felt good. Roy looked down the field, Kyle was yelling, “I am open!” So Roy threw a rocket in between two defenders for fifteen-yard gain. Roy screamed, “On the ball!”, and the linemen ran to the line and wide receivers got in place as fast as they could and they ran another pass play. Roy was in the pocket looking and he rolled out found Drake for nine-yard gain, but he didn’t get out of bounds.
So they got on the ball fast again, but Roy stopped the clock by throwing the ball straight at the other team’s mascot. The crowd went crazy with only thirty seconds left to play they decided to pass the ball. Roy went under the shotgun and hiked the ball, but there was a rush. Roy was too agile for the defender, then Roy went out of the pocket and got a nine-yard gain. Roy asked coach, “What are we going to do we aren’t in field goal range?” ,coach replied, “Hook and ladder.” “Really is that the play where I run out of nowhere looking stupid?” ,said  Caden. Coach nods at Caden and says, “Hook and Ladder on one.” After that Roy signaled everyone to get onto the field.
Everything for Roy got really slow, and he couldn’t move. The next thing he knew he said, “Hike!” ,and everything went back to normal. The play moved so fast, but Roy knew he needed to make the throw. So Roy threw it to Drake, and Caden went out behind him and Caden had the ball pitched to him, and he started running. Caden was moving as fast as he could stiff arming people, he made it to the ten with no time left. With three people on him he kept on going until he  fell into the end-zone for the win.
